2.2. Strengthening existing CABs

OBJECTIVE

• The specific objective for this call for proposals is to enable existing CABs to consolidate, diversify and improve the quality of their services in response to citizens’ needs and gain sustainability.

WHO CAN APPLY

• Non-governmental non-profit organisations from Romania, members of the National Associations of the Citizens Advice Bureaux, in consortium with at least one local authority from Romania.
  The applicants must have not been recommended for financing under the first Call for Proposals within Strengthening Civil Society in Romania Programme.
  
  The applicant may also act in partnership with other Romanian public authorities/institutions, and/or other Romanian non-governmental non-profit-making organisation(s).

COMPONENT SPECIFICITY

Support from local authority partner(s) is mandatory for the award of grants; the required support will provide the premises and office facilities for the normal running of the Citizens Advice Bureaux and will partially cover salaries for the staff through in-cash contribution.
