COMPONENT 1: NGO SECTOR DEVELOPMENT

This component is structured on 4 domains, as follows:
Domain 1: Partnership Building
OBJECTIVE
-
To develop social capital by supporting the development of
sustainable partnerships between NGOs, local administration and/or
business sector or other local stakeholders to better respond to
citizens’ and communities’ needs.
WHO CAN APPLY
-
Romanian non-governmental non-profit organisations in consortium
with Romanian central/local authorities and/or for-profit entities
of the local business community and/or other non-governmental
non-profit organisations
Domain 2: Training for NGOs
OBJECTIVE
-
To reinforce the sustainability of NGOs by facilitating access to
training and organisational development services designed to
increase their professional expertise and enable transfer of know
how in response to particular needs.
WHO CAN APPLY
-
Romanian
non-governmental non-profit organisations, individually or in
consortium only with other non-governmental non-profit
organisations.
Domain 3: NGO Resource Centres
OBJECTIVE
-
To promote networking and support the sustainability of the NGO
Resource Centres and to encourage such initiatives where they do not
exist.
This
domain is structured on two distinctive windows, namely
Window I – Establishing new NGO Resource
Centres and Window II – Strengthening existing NGO Resource
Centres
WHO CAN APPLY
-
Romanian
non-governmental non-profit organisations, individually or in
consortium with Romanian central/local authorities and/or other
non-governmental non-profit organisations.
Domain 4:
Actions for improving the legal, fiscal and regulatory framework
OBJECTIVE
-
To reinforce the sustainability of the NGOs by supporting the
improvement of the legal, fiscal and regulatory framework in which
they function and promoting a pro active function of NGOs, and
emphasising their role in the development of their management and
representation skills and in building democracy.
WHO CAN APPLY
-
Romanian
non-governmental non-profit organisations, individually or in
consortium with Romanian central/local authorities and/or other
non-governmental non-profit organisations
